In December 2007, the OCCC YN Director decided to conduct his own, personel penny search.  The intent was to determine how many of the older, copper cents could be found in general population (compared to the current "zinc" cents), and also to see what older cents could be found. Every 3-4 days he would acquire 10 cent rolls from area banks, search the contents and record the findings. The search continued for approximately 3 months and eventually over 35,000 cents were examined and recorded. Below are some of the notable findings.
