In October 2007, the OCCC YN Director decided to conduct his own, personel nickel search.  The intent was to determine how many of the Westward-Ho nickels could be found in general nickel population, and also to see what older nickels could be found. Every 3-4 days he would acquire 10 nickel rolls from area banks, search the contents and record the findings. The search continued for over 6 months and eventually over 50,000 nickels were examined and recorded. Below are some of the notable findings.
